Teine nädal – kolmas riik. Tere Malaisiast

After 13 days on the tour, today we took the 3rd international flight from Singapore to Langkawi Island in Malaysia. It took us a good hour to fly. But the day started a bit unusual - with an alarm clock ringing! Much to the discomfort of the little late riser! But at 9, we had to be on the train to get to the airport. When checking in, the big late riser was uncomfortable. There were only check-in machines for issuing boarding passes and checking in baggage. Unfortunately, neither worked for me, at least not on the first or second try. An employee then came to help and for some reason, it worked for him. After the security check, we had breakfast first. After that, our mood was much better :)

Arriving in Langkawi, we took a taxi to the hotel, not a long ride, but in the car in front of us, there was already the first performance. The passenger repeatedly opened the door during the drive to throw up. Why stop if you can do it this way?! :)))

Our hotel is very nice, it is not directly on the beach, but on the other side of the main road, it is relatively quiet and has a view of the mountains. On the main road, restaurants and shops alternate. After a short search on TripAdvisor, we decided on a Syrian restaurant. The reviews were not lying, it was super delicious and the portions were big. Then we bought sand toys and went to the beach. It was already early evening and luckily the sun was hiding behind the clouds, so it wasn't too hot and we could sit in the sand without an umbrella. The beach itself is really nice, but unfortunately too crowded, especially with water sports facilities. Jetskis leave the shore every minute, banana boats are pulled through the water, and a group of 20-year-olds, tanned wannabe beauties, chase after the next one. Is it only like this on weekends? If not, we have to move on. It's a bit too much for me and there's not much space left for swimming between all the boats.

But I had a absolutely happy and relaxed child sitting on the beach, playing peacefully with her new sand toys for over an hour. It was beautiful to see! Now back at the hotel, the sand molds are used as boats for the Playmobil figures :)
