Forster & Port Macquarie

...and the groundhog greets daily. It looks like it will be the same for the next 12 days, check out at 6:45 am 😴.

After we fortified ourselves with an Australian breakfast, we arrived at Forster Beach after 2.5 hours. Really beautiful, and for the first time we dipped our feet in the water 😎... the temperatures weren't enough for swimming yet.

We continued to the Dorrigo National Park to enjoy the beautiful view and explore the area from above.

After a short stop, we continued to Port Macquarie where we are also staying overnight.

We quickly threw our luggage in the rooms and headed to the harbor, where our "Dolphins & Sunset" tour started. Our guide brought us Hunter Valley cheese and wine to make the trip even more enjoyable.

Almost on our way back and the big disappointment of not seeing any dolphins, they suddenly jumped out of the water in front of the boat and accompanied us to the harbor 😍. It's incredible to see the dolphins up close.

Once again, we went as a group to find a seafood restaurant. Full and happy, we could stroll back to the hotel with an ice cream.
