Toronto Niagara Falls

Avaldatud: 26.09.2023

We've been thinking for a long time about whether we're going to go to the big city - it depends on the weather, because if we do, we want to visit the CN Tower. It's 553m high and therefore the second largest tower in the world. The weather is great and we're looking In the evening we get a parking space at the marina, 10 km from the city. Early in the morning we set off with our bikes. We park them somewhere and continue on foot - on foot through Toronto 🙀. I always send us a location to the family group. So Erik and Jesse know where we are and we can find our bikes and our home again.😊We don't have to queue at the CN Tower and go straight up. Great all-round visibility, great view of Toronto .We chose the best time. It gets really crowded after 11 a.m. - Sunday - as I'm driving down I briefly lose sight of Jörg because he quickly jumps into an elevator that's just closing its doors 🙄 Well, I did my phone with SOS function (fun)

When we get downstairs, we notice that 2/3 of the people are wearing blue jerseys. The Blue Jays, Toronto's baseball team, are playing against the RedSock (Boston). Every age group is milling around here and waiting for the game. The stadium is right here Square (Rogers Center). We enjoy the great weather and sit in the “beer garden”, later we have classic fish and chips. We walk through the city along the harbor. You could stay here for days. The hustle and bustle is enough for us, the great atmosphere Setting, the old decoy shed, which has been beautifully restored and the great atmosphere of the fans. We stay one more night. We also found the bikes again. We continue before breakfast.

We would also like to take a look at Niagara Falls. They are very close.

The waterfalls are very impressive - no question about it - but everything is pretty much packaged like a theme park. You can visit Niagara Falls from the USA and Canada

You don't necessarily need Niagara City with its ghost trains and games rooms. It takes a few hours to walk. In any case, we had the best-guarded parking lot for MANNI. The parking attendant really enjoyed his job 😎

In the evening we try to get out of the hustle and bustle. We continue towards the northwest. Finding nice parking spaces around a big city is not easy. Thanks to our OVERLANDER app, we are standing quietly in the forest tonight.

Hustle and bustle is always nice for a moment.

We are now on Lake Superior

Best regards
