From Bangkok to Pattaya, the party capital of Thailand.

After only four hours of sleep, I was already up and about. I was alone in the room at 7 o'clock. Where is everyone so early in the morning? Shower, pack, have breakfast. I was able to weigh my baggage at a supermarket. I'm actually carrying 18.2 kg on my back. So in goes the big backpack. The small one probably adds another five to six kilograms. Way too much. I really need to declutter.

Then I met up with the two girls I started the journey with at the bus terminal again. The journey to Pattaya took about 2.5 hours. We walked a bit and then took a so-called songthaew, which is like a red taxi. First things first, we went to the pool and had dinner. In the evening, we walked along the Walking Street right by the beach. The girls went home before me, as I wanted to check out a shopping mall. I couldn't find my way back and Google Maps couldn't find the hotel. Luckily, I was able to contact the girls via the restaurant's Wi-Fi and have them send me their location.
