So, first of all, the obligatory saying again: last week (3.9. - 9.9.) went by really quickly :D
Not much exciting happened during the week, it was just a bit frustrating. The oldest one hasn't changed. Besides that, I got rejected by one girl after another. I actually wanted to go to New York with a few girls and at first everyone agreed. But when I wanted to book, suddenly none of them could go anymore. That was a bit annoying.
On Saturday, I wanted to go to an outlet center in Wisconsin to look for a winter jacket and winter shoes. I didn't find either of them, but I bought a new wallet and candles instead :D But getting there was also difficult, although in the afternoon I found someone to go with, so I didn't have to go alone. The girl I went with is from Peru and through her, I realized that we really learn good English in Germany. At the beginning, she hardly understood me because I spoke too fast, even though that was actually normal speed. I sometimes had trouble understanding her too, because she can't speak good English, as she always said.
On Sunday morning, I prepared a typical German breakfast for my family, which they were very happy about. In the afternoon, I went to a Pumpkin Festival with a friend. It was really nice, but we had imagined it a bit differently. I thought it would be a festival in a field with hay and straw, but it was more like an amusement park where you could carve pumpkins for free everywhere. We even got our very first henna tattoos there. After that, we went to get something to eat and afterwards we were looked at a bit strangely. Because after we finished eating, we sat for a while and talked, and you don't do that here in America. Here, you eat and as soon as the last bite is in your mouth, you're supposed to leave. I even saw a sign at McDonald's that says you can sit for a maximum of 30 minutes, and only if you eat continuously for those 30 minutes. That annoys me a bit, because at home it's different.
