Grand Canyon

The Grand Canyon was kind of a shock. We arrived at the Grand Canyon Village and thought we had to walk quite a distance from there to reach the Grand Canyon. However, that wasn't the case. On the way to our hotel, we saw a lot of people standing near another hotel, so we went there. And then suddenly, it went steep downhill. The hotel was really just inches away from the Grand Canyon. It all felt completely unreal. It took us a while to realize that we were actually standing in front of the Grand Canyon. It looked more like we were looking at a big canvas with the Grand Canyon drawn on it. It was all very crazy :D

Later, we drove to the viewpoints and also walked along a short hiking trail by the Canyon. The hiking trail was quite scary. It went partly just inches away from the edge and there were no safety rails. If you slipped even just a little by accident, you would have been gone.
