Uli announced a detailed report but what should I report on today? We went outside twice and added another 20,000 steps to our count even though we spent 5 hours in the hotel room during the day.
After breakfast, we headed to 'The Venetian' Hotel. It took us approximately an hour to get there. Although this hotel is beautifully recreated and you can cruise in a small gondola in the artificial canal, there was one thing we didn't like - we were not allowed to enter a café just for drinks. What should you eat at 11:30 am if you are not in the office? We smiled at the waiter and drifted off to one of the countless other options instead.
It's all very nice, but Las Vegas is really not my world.
After spending 4 hours in the morning exploring hotels, we lost our way and had to climb over a railing onto the sidewalk to avoid being hit by cars.
After a 5-hour break in the hotel, we watched the sun go down and ventured out into the night again. The High Roller was still on the program. I know this Ferris wheel from London and the views from London are much more magnificent because you can see real old buildings. Here in Las Vegas, the artificial hotels, streets, and car lights just glow. Unfortunately, we couldn't take any amazing pictures through the glass wall because of all the reflections, but that's okay. It was nice, but I don't need to do it again. In general, I don't need Las Vegas again. After a half-hour ride on the Ferris wheel, we headed back to the hotel after enjoying a typical Italian ice cream.
Tomorrow, on our last day in Las Vegas, we will go to the 'Valley of Fire' and maybe to the 'Hoover Dam.' I feel like I've seen everything in the city. The pictures will surely be more exciting tomorrow.
