About me :)

Hello and welcome to my island travel Erasmus blog!

My name is Emelie, I am 21 years old and I will be spending a year in the easternmost part of Europe - the island of La Réunion, starting from August.

I am studying Translation and Interpreting at FTSK in Germersheim (French, English, and Arabic) and this wonderful stay is made possible by ERASMUS.

Aside from languages, I am also passionate about medicine, nature, sports, music (especially the flute), books, and cats.

My plan is to use this blog to keep friends and family updated, document my language progress, and simply record my journey in writing.
