Day 28+29 Transfer to Ho Chi Minh airport and arrival in Frankfurt

Heading home……

We savored our last breakfast until the last minute.

We relaxed by the pool until 2:00 p.m., had a light meal at the restaurant, showered, and waited for our transfer.

Our driver today imitated Sebastian Vettel, so the ride was quite exciting. After a 2-hour drive, we took a short break, but the driving style remained the same. Then there was the nighttime drive through Ho Chi Minh with all its scooters - a complete mess and totally chaotic for us.

However, the check-in was completely chilled out this time, even for the girls who got their boarding passes for the flight to Vienna.

Once again, we flew in Premium Economy (13 hours) and it wasn't really tiring. We (the female members of the group) took a pill after eating and woke up slowly 5.5 hours later. It's really cool and relaxing to fly overnight.

Since we departed later and therefore arrived later, the two girls had a stressful time getting to their connecting flight to Vienna - but they made it. It was funny that they had to go across the airport to board the Lufthansa plane behind our arrived aircraft. 🙈

Our suitcases arrived quite quickly this time (priority tag!). So we got a pretzel with butter and coffee from Starbucks after 4 weeks, completely stress-free.

That was our adventure trip to Taiwan and part of Vietnam.

Partly very special, challenging, with small to larger language barriers, big cultural differences, little tourism in Taiwan, lots of temples, local night markets, city, countryside, national park, and beach in Taiwan -> much more tourism in Ho Chi Minh, much better English skills, the country and its people, beach, and what both countries have - very friendly people trying to help with hands and feet and more……
