Normandy: The cliffs and a trip to Rouen

We are now at a campsite in the cute village of "Veules-les-Roses". Just like on our previous trip to "Ault" and "Beach of the Bois de Cise", there is a magnificent cliff to admire here as well. Due to the still partly stormy and unpredictable weather, the water is so high that it swallows the beach and washes up against the coast in strong waves.

Today, we took a trip to the city of Rouen, a recommendation from Bernd (thank you for that) that we gladly followed. It is still strange for us to have to wear a mask even outdoors, but as we wrote in our previous post, there is a mask requirement in cities/towns, which is also enforced by the police (even without them, we would of course adhere to it ;0). On days like today, with only around 18 °C, it's still bearable, but when it's sunny and warm in between, it's really uncomfortable. But that's how it is...
