Tag 355 - Strandtag am Long Beach

Hello Hello everyone

Today we wanted to go on a boat tour to really get that Thailand holiday feeling, but the weather put a damper on our plans.

When we woke up in the morning it seemed rainy outside, so we took our time.

We still needed cash, but there are no ATMs on this side of the island. Since the weather wasn't perfect for a boat trip anyway, we decided to go into town. We ordered a taxi at reception and were completely surprised when it didn't go to the beach but rather directly to the city via a narrow path at the back. So it is of course easily possible to just drive into the city. There we got some cash and went straight back to the hotel transfer. We were lucky and less than five minutes later a taxi came again. This took us to our “hotel beach” Long Beach, where we first sat down in the restaurant right by the sea. After a delicious refreshment, we lay down on the beach until the last clouds gathered. On the way back to the room we treated ourselves to a cocktail and spent the rest of the afternoon relaxing on the terrace. Later we go to the pretty restaurant right across the street, we really like it there.
