Poki Poki to Kadidiri 2.0 (Togian)

According to plan, the end of our stay in Togian was supposed to be 4 nights at Poki Poki on Bomba Island. However, things turned out differently, but let's start from the beginning.

On our way to Bomba Island, we made a stop at Jellyfish Lake. This area, separated from the sea, was full of harmless jellyfish that you could swim with. We tried it, but we had respect for the creatures.

When we arrived at Poki Poki, we were very disappointed. We did not get the accommodation that we had actually booked and already paid for, and the beach was not worth the long journey. It was surrounded by palm trees, but it was more muddy than sandy, and the seaweed made swimming and snorkeling almost impossible. We knew from the first few days that there were much better places to stay in the Togians, so we decided to leave after 2 nights and return to Kadidiri Paradise. We never regretted this decision and enjoyed 2 wonderful days of snorkeling in the house reef of Kadidiri and pure relaxation.👌😎😁

Conclusion: The hotel that we had expected to be the best turned out to be the biggest disappointment. Perhaps it was because of the European operators, who advertise the hotel on the internet with a well-designed website and on Instagram. However, for us as beach lovers and snorkelers, the location was unfortunately unsuitable. The only thing that remains in our memory are the spectacular sunsets!
