We spent the day inside as Barbara came over early for breakfast which was skillfully prepared by Ines with pancakes and freshly baked bread.
We didn't waste a lot of time and just started worldbuilding our little adventure world for today and explaining all of the characters which did take the rest of the morning.
After we finished the intro part of the adventure we had pizza for our late lunch break and after that just powered through the rest of the story with no breaks until 22:00.
It was great, we had created an immersive world, rich in story and possibility.Each player had characters that complimented each other and could profit from the strengths of the others.
We had magic and gods, kingdoms and wars, schools and lectures, intrigue and mystery, rules and regulations. A world that felt filled with life and motivation, even though we had just made it up by throwing a few ideas together.
So there was nothing to stop a good story from developing over the rest of the day.
The hardest part was not to rush the ending when it started getting late but still hurry along because Barbara had to get back to her hotel by train.
But in the end it all worked out and we finished with a satisfying conclusion.
