Off to Nova Scotia!

On Friday, I left Sherbrooke and returned to Montreal early in the morning. My bus to Nova Scotia didn't leave until 9:30 PM, so I had 12 hours to explore Montreal. I left my suitcase at a Bagbnb and spent the whole day walking around the streets of Montreal. Luckily, the weather was nice! ☀️ I even made a little friend and shared my peanut bar with him 😍🐿 I really enjoyed Old Montreal, especially in the evening when the little restaurants lined up with fairy lights. There were 3 men playing music on the street with a pan flute - it fit perfectly with the atmosphere! 😍 In the evening, I finally headed to Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia. After almost 23 hours on the bus, I arrived at the bus stop in Whycocomagh and then drove another 2 hours with my host to Pleasant Bay, where he lives. Since it was already late, I couldn't really see much of the beautiful Cabot Trail, but we hiked 2 trails the next morning. Even though it was drizzling, it was beautiful! After that, I prepared a room for an Airbnb guest and that's it with work. So my host is really laid back. He always tells me to relax and enjoy the view 😄 From his dining table, you can look directly at the ocean! He told me that he even sees whales in the bay often 😍🐳 I hope to see one soon too ☺
