What's new?:
We were able to test the doctors in Cyprus 🥼 and were pleasantly surprised. Many of them speak or understand German because they studied there. Appointments are usually made promptly, and the pediatrician even has weekend hours. 🤗 Lab results can be viewed online, as the Cypriots are ahead in terms of digitization.
We have finally gotten rid of the last pacifier 💪 The pacifier fairy took it for a little baby and left a car as a gift. 😉
In addition to soccer ⚽️, tennis 🎾, and children's dance 👯♀️, the children now also have yoga 🧘 and boxing 🥊 at the daycare center, pictures will be available next time. We also have a weekly swimming course with us parents, which we really enjoy. 🏊♀️
Last Friday, Independence Day was celebrated in Cyprus (the end of being a British colony), and we took advantage of the day off to visit the Riverland Organic Farm (https://riverlandbiofarm.com) with a friend's family. We started our visit with a classic breakfast 🫓 🍅 🥒 🧀 🥚 supplemented with snacks we brought along. The children could play extensively and then we visited the many small and large animals. We even got to watch the goats 🐐 being milked. The children had the most fun feeding the sheep.
In the early afternoon, we left (by then the farm was bustling) and the children slept the entire way back thanks to many hours of fresh air. Wonderful! 🤗
