Training camp

The World Cup can begin. The first hurdle is the registration of the teams, where we successfully completed the queue after one hour.

The event hall at the "Palais des congrès de Montréal" is huge and both the competitions of the junior teams and the student teams with the next higher category of robots are accommodated here.

The first tests are very short due to the not yet completely built training arena, so the team decides to return to the hotel soon. Thomas, our software specialist, continues to work on the program and the strategy of the hardware is still unclear: wheels or tracks is the question here.

The solution: Philip and Florian quickly build a second robot and the decision on which rubber best masters the inclines will only be made on the first day of competition.

Montreal is the city of festivals, so our way to the hotel leads us to 'Francos de Montréal', a festival with French (unknown to us) stars.
