Today's route: Pont de la Rollaz (1515 m) - Refuge de la Balme (1706 m) - Col du Bonhomme (2329 m) - Refuge du Col de la Croix du Bonhomme (2433 m) - Crête des Gittes (2538 m) - Col de la Saulce (2307 m) - Plan de la Lai (1818 m) - La Petite Berge (2071 m)

Oh miracle. Today we unexpectedly met the four "Kampfwanderer" from Beaujolais - in our third phase of life we already know "Kampfrentner"! - who we already thought were far away. Philippe's meticulous plan, limited to 30 days to Menton because of the wives, could not be implemented as planned and, as Philippe says in the "Beiz" of Plan de la Lai, is faltering. On the one hand, the refuges at the designated stages were already occupied; on the other hand, a fellow hiker with Philippe had circulatory problems. Uiui, and now we have more or less overtaken them. We met Monsieur Orange once in the Refuge du Col de la Croix du Bonhomme (soup lunch), and now he is even camping in the same place as us! We also met Jean-Claude from Les Diablerets again, probably for the last time.

Getting up in the cold and damp this morning was unpleasant. Our fingers were still damp for a long time. Otherwise, the day was very beautiful and very sunny.
