Off to Dublin: From Basel to Frankfurt and then off to the Green Island

Finally the time has come! The suitcases are packed, the anticipation is growing immeasurably, because our tour of Great Britain starts on Tuesday, first to the beautiful city of Dublin. But before we can enjoy the green hills and Irish hospitality, there is a short stopover in Frankfurt.
Our journey begins tomorrow morning with the comfortable ICE from Basel to Frankfurt. The relaxed train ride not only offers a breathtaking view of the picturesque landscape, but also enables stress-free travel without long traffic jams. So we have time to get mentally in the mood for the adventure Ireland.
Dinner in a "Frau Rauscher" cider tavern
In order to start the flight to Dublin rested and without stress, we decided to stay overnight in the airport hotel. The short distance to the terminal allows us to check in early without any rush and to look forward to the flight experience.

Our alarm clock will wake us up early, but it's worth it.
On September 12th at 7am we take off on our flight to Dublin. The anticipation of the Emerald Isle, the breathtaking landscapes, the charming pubs and the warm-hearted people can hardly be surpassed. We can't wait to explore Dublin and experience Irish culture up close. Join us on our journey and be enchanted by the beauty and experiences of Dublin. After our arrival in Frankfurt am Main we let the day end comfortably. And what better way to do that than in a real cider bar? "Frau Rauscher" is our destination, where we will enjoy the Hessian hospitality and the rustic ambience. A hearty dinner with traditional dishes "Frankfurt green sauce" and of course the famous apple wine is on the program.

Hallo ihr zwei, ich werde ganz grün vor Neid. Ihr geht auf meine Lieblingsinsel. Besucht nicht nur Dublin, schaut Euch die atemberaubenden Cliffs of Moher an, den Ring of Kerry, den Ring of Beara..Galway..die vielen tollen Castles, Parks und Gärten und die Gastfreundschaft der Iren. Ganz wichtig un denü B& B werdet ihr mit tollem Frühstück verwöhnt. Werde ganz oft Euch on Gedanken begleiten und bin mir sicher wer einmal dem Zauber dieser Insel erlegen ist kommt wieder. Gute Reise
