This morning we took the ferry with rough seas and headed back down from Kangaroo Island towards Eastern Australia. We passed by landscapes, some more interesting than others, but mostly fields and meadows.
Although driving can sometimes be boring, the nice signs along the way keep us entertained (the Aussies constantly warn about something).
Our overnight stop brought us to Meningie on Lake Albert (about 250 km). Our accommodation was a historic cottage called 'Dalton on the Lake'.
As a passionate bird lover, one would surely enjoy it here, as the local Coorong National Park is home to countless rare birds. At dusk, it felt like being in the Alfred Hitchcock's movie 'The Birds'....
