24.08.2019: Lithuania and Vilnius

Unfortunately, we rushed through the Baltics. This is a pity because the landscapes and cities are very beautiful. We only had one day for Lithuania and Vilnius. A brief stop at the "Hill of Crosses", a place of pilgrimage. The ensemble seems quite surreal.

In Vilnius, we could only get a glimpse during a short city tour in the early evening. This city is also very beautiful, completely different from the other Baltic capitals. They say that no matter where you stand in Vilnius, you can see a church and a beautiful woman. And we can confirm that. There are over 50 churches in the city, most of them in Baroque style. We didn't count the women.

It was such a beautiful summer evening. Everyone was sitting outside the bars and restaurants. So we did that too and soaked up the atmosphere.
