Unfortunately, we couldn't see the beautiful weather from the evening anymore today. Fog hung over the sea and moved inland. Not unusual, as we were told, when the sea is cold and the land is warm. The sun seemed to shine a few hundred meters inland... :-/

The path initially led us up Cambeak, where its inhabitants peacefully waited for better weather. Then we passed Strangles Beach. Then we climbed High Cliff, the highest cliff in Cornwall - but we didn't see anything. What a pity.

At Beeny Cliff, we met Juliet and Hugh Morton, my host parents from the partner city of Kingsbridge, which I visited in August 2018. They came from the south coast of Devon to meet with us. They told us a lot about the flora and fauna, so we focused on the little things along the way. :-)

After a quick refreshment in the form of a cream tea at Boscastle Farm Shop, we arrived in Boscastle.

Boscastle experienced a terrible flood disaster in 2004 when the entire valley was flooded after heavy rain.

We had a cozy beer in a pub before saying goodbye to Juliet and Hugh and falling asleep in the youth hostel after a good pub dinner.
