On your mark, get set, go!

Finally, the time has come!

Red Rocket is finished - and so are we! Overall, the conversion was quite a lot of work and cost us some nerves and relationship credits. Not that we didn't expect that, but we're glad we made it! Except for a few small things, which we'll do when we feel like it again.

But we don't just want to complain. It was also a lot of fun and, above all, incredibly exciting to learn all the things! "You grow with your challenges!" - or something like that? We have definitely grown. With our tasks and also a little bit with pride. We are super happy with the result and feel very comfortable!

We'll spare you the details - pictures sometimes say more than words!

After a week full of goodbyes, we're now on the A2 heading to our first stop - Hamburg! We're making a short detour to visit Sarah & Philipp. They also converted their T5 almost at the same time as us, so we definitely want to take a sneak peek.

And then we'll continue to our only planned destination so far - off to Sweden! We're celebrating Midsummer with Verena & Jukke! We're really looking forward to it! To a reunion, but also to a traditional Swedish festival! We're curious :)

Of course, we'll take it easy on the way there and see where we'll stop.

Unfortunately, we weren't able to make another detour to the Black Forest because we were running out of time :( But we'll definitely make up for it!

So - now we have to arrive in travel mode. Fiete, on the other hand, seems to already be fully in travel mode - he's snoozing comfortably behind us!

PS: Somehow we both just realized that we don't have any "real" photos that give you an overall impression. But it's coming ;)
