Day 6

I didn't get out of bed as early as I wanted to😂 There was a small supermarket across the street that was open, so I went there and got fresh croissants. They taste the best with butter.👍🏼 Meanwhile, I looked for parking spaces again, and I found one that was 2 hours and 50 minutes away according to Maps. Okay, doable. I drove overland again and took a break to charge my phone. It was the perfect opportunity for a quick power nap😴 Half an hour nap later, I got back behind the wheel. I drove straight to the sea, parked, and went swimming immediately. Freezing cold. Really freezing cold. I quickly sunbathed to warm up. Once I was warmed up, I went to the parking space, but I couldn't figure out how to pay. So, I kept searching, but the network there was so bad, nothing worked. I just drove around and looked left and right to see if there was anything available. I found a 1⭐️ campground. But before that, I had to do some quick shopping. I grabbed a cart and walked to the beer aisle and got 1664 (thanks Viktor, it tastes great). When I was getting some cherry tomatoes and came back to the cart, it was gone. With everything I had with me - car keys, phone, wallet. Panic started to set in. I walked through the supermarket, searching for my cart🛒. "How stupid can one be. This can't be happening." I passed by the cashier and explained my situation to the security employee. He walked with me to the manager and explained the situation to him in French. The manager brought 3 more employees, and the 5 of us searched the entire store. After 10 minutes, I found my cart in the very last corner, next to the cat food. Phew, everything was still there. Crazy😅 The employees were relieved too, and I was very grateful for their help.👍🏼

I drove straight to the campground and checked in using hand gestures and body language, because the two older ladies didn't speak a word of English. Terrible😂 But somehow, it worked out in the end, and I sunbathed first and then took a shower.

I still had leftovers, so I had Schupfnudeln (finger-shaped potato dumplings) with sauerkraut again. Had a couple of 1664s as well, and the stressful day came to an end. Good night😁
