It was my birthday today! So I woke up to many messages and wishes and surprisingly a choclate cake that was standing in the kitchen.
Bernie walked past and asked if I was fine having some cake for breakfast and I said I didn't mind and thanked her because I thought she had made it.
Though I learned later that it was actually svea who used the time while I was playing badminton to bake a cake. The cake was very nice and it even completly vegan so everyone could enjoy it.
She did say though that it was quite close from the timing because I returned from badminton just when it was finished and they quickly had to hide it.
I played lego in the homework room today using actual tables as a place to build instead of the ground. I managed to finish the airplane that I started yesterday and some other figures.
I of course told some of the kids that it was my birthday today and they just couldn't believe how old I was.
There were a bit less kids today and a lot went home early so it was pretty calm in the lego room. I just had to send out a few kids that were messing around, other than that it was fine.
It always interesting to see the kids play with the figures. The always say 'pretend'. Pretend my character was hiding, pretend the airplane was taking off, pretend I was a baby. Me and my friends never said pretend we just did what we did and it was accepted by all.
Though it is cute how they always say 'pretend'.
Back home we had dinner and then played just a quick round of risk before we played poker for the rest of the evening. I lost at risk but I did win both rounds of poker.
And we also ate some more cake.
