Northland and Auckland

Hello,
By now we have already explored the North Island and are in Auckland, where we are actively trying to sell our car. In the past few days, we drove up the east coast towards the northern tip. Along the way, we passed numerous waterfalls and beautiful beaches. Since the weather here is very good and the sun is also very warm, we have swum in the sea multiple times. We also visited a famous cave where we could see an incredible number of glowworms, almost like a starry sky. Unfortunately, we were unable to visit the northernmost point of New Zealand due to a fire, as the road was closed. However, we made our way closer to Cape Reinga on a 2-hour hike and finally saw the Pacific Ocean and the Tasman Sea meet. On the way back from the north, we took a lunch break at a 90 Mile Beach that was incredibly long and open to cars, and we also stopped at huge sand dunes. In Auckland, we have already settled into our hostel in the city center and shown our car to some potential buyers. Today, we spent the day at a car market, although there were more sellers than buyers. Now we are enjoying the beautiful weather in the park and will try our luck at another car market tomorrow.
We will keep you updated.
See you soon,
Malia
