Miami - Day 3 - Sightseeing in Miami Beach

Δημοσίευσε: 07.10.2016

To protect our skin, we didn't go to the beach on day 3, but went on a discovery tour in Miami Beach. It wasn't pleasant to walk in such temperatures. The scorching midday sun had about 1000 degrees again.

First, we went to the Holocaust Memorial. This is a beautifully maintained facility that commemorates the murder of Jews during World War II.

We then saw countless yachts and villas on the west side. Unfortunately, you can't go very far there because it's all private property.

To cool down a bit, we then took the air-conditioned (super cold) bus, where the bus driver Pamela constantly shouted 'South Beach Locaäääääl'. The next stop was South Beach Park and the corresponding pier. From there you have a great view of Fishers Island (island of the richest) and the entire beach. Very cool!

Afterwards, we walked along the famous Ocean Drive (it wasn't that cool) and had a nice expensive sandwich in the restaurant.

We wanted to spend the evening at the hotel bar. At night it started to rain insanely, so the streets were flooded. In a cheerful mood, we walked around in flip-flops and bathing suits in the flooded streets and played baseball with coconuts and pieces of wood. Mega funny!

End of day 3.
