Sydney - simply a great city

Day 77 - 11/25/23

Today we were in the neighborhood “The Rocks”, at the foot of the Labor Bridge, at a market that takes place there every Saturday and Sunday. Artists and food people in particular sell their wares here and there are pubs. The whole district is an oasis of well-being and makes time fly by.

Day 78 - 11/26/23

Last day. We set off for one last stroll through the city.

The shops are also open on Sundays and there is a lot going on in the city. Towards the late afternoon the first pubs start to offer live music, the restaurants and roof-top bars are fully booked with reservations and so we think we should have a quiet drink in the Orient Hotel in the “Rocks” neighborhood can. The positive surprise is big, the place is packed and a live band is currently playing their last songs of their performance: U2 and AC/DC - and things are going off. Children, young and old - all in a good mood, rocking the place full of joie de vivre.

A wonderfully beautiful ending for us.
