Day 71 - 11/19/23

Happy birthday (1) Matilda!!!

Katoomba Falls on the railway is quite a rip off. The cog railway goes down very steeply, but the fun is over after just 200 meters. Get out and look for paths of different lengths to enjoy the “scenic view” and marvel at the waterfall.

In fact, the paths were well developed, there were very few scenic views during the "hiking" and the waterfall roared freely into the depths according to Goethe: "In the forest, there the waterfall rushes, and if it doesn't rush, it's all water".

But there was a constant stream of Chinese, Indians and other Asians who were like ants wherever you wanted to go.

Karin has developed a temporary social phobia.

Our last day in the Blue Mountains, our last Tuesday of our trip. Tomorrow we drive to Sydney, our last stop.

After all that nature, this will be quite an adjustment.

We can expect temperatures around 23 degrees (felt like 28 degrees)!
