Rain front in Sicily - we are heading towards the sunny Amalfi Coast

We are leaving Alicudi. Stephan is relieved to be back on the mainland. The van is still there. And after the somewhat eerie and secluded days on the island, Stephan treats himself to a proper pasta with secondi, wine, and dolce :-).

We are going to Catania - looking forward to the beautiful port city, the fish market, and a tour around Mount Etna.

Catania welcomes us with a blanket of clouds and rain. A glance at the weather app and the information from friends that the sun is shining in Munich all the time, makes us decide to pack up in Sicily and head towards the sunny north. The goal is the Amalfi Coast, where we will meet Robi and Tinta in Naples over the weekend.

For the third time, we drive past the cloud-covered Mount Etna and are disappointed that we couldn't get a closer look at it on this trip.
