Lincoln National Park

After having breakfast at the Esplanade in Port Lincoln and chatting with some locals, we drove to Lincoln National Park. We went straight to the first campsite, which is accessible via an asphalt road. It is located at Surfleet Cove, a small bay in the north of the park.

Since the weather was perfect for swimming, we immediately headed to the beach with our swimwear. Upon arrival, we took a look around and then started climbing over the rocks and stones at the end of the beach. Our curiosity about what's around the next corner drove us further until we ended up in another bay after about an hour. There is no one there except us. The temperatures are perfect, the water is crystal clear and calmer than ever on this trip. Plus, there is a beautiful view of the sea towards Port Lincoln. And so we spend the perfect day at the beach, swimming, sunbathing, and collecting seashells. But considering that the largest great white sharks in the world have been sighted off the port of Port Lincoln...

In the evening, we enjoy the magnificent view from our pitch high above the bay.
