Chasing waterfalls

प्रकाशित कीता: 17.03.2020

Hello,

The alarm clock went off at quarter to 7, then we had breakfast and got ready for the day. Today, we spent the whole day on the 'Hana Road' with Helena and Simon, two German students we met yesterday at our hostel.

In total, we drove 11 and a half hours across Maui, discovering beautiful viewpoints, incredibly many waterfalls, and breathtaking landscapes. 😊

After a 45-minute hike through a bamboo forest, we arrived at a huge waterfall, which was also the highlight of the day. 🙈

Then we went to a 'Red Sand Beach' where we dipped our feet in the water, but didn't go swimming because it was a little too cold. 😅

For lunch, we ate at 'Hui Hui Chicken', a insider tip from a friend of Simon's. Hui Hui Chicken is a beach food place where you can eat delicious chicken with rice and salad, highly recommended! 🤤

Afterwards, we continued along the roads, stopping at smaller waterfalls and viewpoints before heading back to the hostel.

On the way back, the two of them showed us a famous beach and a small town that we should visit. 🙈

We arrived at the hostel parking lot at 7 PM, where Manu and Philipp were already waiting for us. After they prepared and ate their food in their camper, they came to our hostel and the six of us spent the evening together. 🙂

Best regards from Maui, Hawaii! 🌺🇺🇲

Yours Jojo 💫

P.S. Due to the coronavirus, there have been some changes to our planned trip (e.g. California tour was canceled), so we are constantly in touch with our travel planner. If there is something new, I will keep you updated. 🙈
