From Hamilton, we finally headed to Auckland.
On April 1st (no April Fool's joke), it was time to go to Fiji. When we got off the plane, we were hit hard. At least 100% humidity and over 30 degrees Celsius.
Since our hostel didn't turn out to be the dream South Seas hostel. The drunk employees were a bit annoying. So we decided to go on some trips to beautiful beaches and islands. Among others, to Bounty Island and Nandanola Beach (one of the top 10 beaches in the world, although it looked weak compared to the beaches on the island).
On the islands, we did a lot of snorkeling. We saw a lot of parrotfish, blue starfish, and clownfish. And even stingrays, but you really had to be careful not to step on them.
But what nobody tells you: there were tiny insects in the water. It looked like plankton. And they stung.
After a week of constantly sweating, we were happy to return to cool New Zealand.
