June 30th. It's that time again. 😄 Well, now quickly Salome... the month is almost over again. Well, I've warned you in the last blog entry. 😉

Ready for a little update?

The individual projects are going quite well so far. The bee video is coming along. It's already edited. Still needs a little work. Especially the transitions and the sound. It turned out really cute. I'll see if I can show you my results in the next blog entry. For the bee video, we also did a laying trick in college. I found it so exciting to see the visual effects being implemented. I've asked myself this question many times, until I now found out that it's actually just quite a lot of images in a row that are rinsed off at the end. 🙃 I could have guessed that.

I was allowed to accompany the hunter for my audio reportage. 🦌 The midwife reportage worked out too. 🤝 I have written the reportage in any case already. Two really cool days. I just love to get a taste of every field I want to get into or do what I feel like doing.

Sometimes it's not easy to be there. Like the day we actually shot a roebuck. It was really intense minutes before that. Knowing that in a moment that sweet little buck wasn't going to live. 🥲 Since the midwife was much more relaxed, but just not as exciting as the hunting evening.

I was allowed to record the voiceover at home, because it is a built reportage and not a live-on-tape reportage, where you have to speak on location. Yes, that's right. I recorded the voiceover in my closet. You wonder why? The acoustics are very good in the closet. Just as good as in the car or even under the covers. 😜 In the picture gallery you can see my self-built recording studio. 😂

Let's stay briefly with animals and with me at home. We have a mama duck with her little ducklings in our pond. Have I mentioned this before? So cute when they flit across the pond. 😇

My work at the photo store is going pretty well so far. I'll be on vacation in July. 🥳 Then it also goes on vacation for the time being. :D But some customers are also really nice to you. Only recently we have been issued an ice cream. 😄 That's a pleasure to work with. 😉 

The meeting with the friends from California in Munich, I had already announced. On June 23, we met again. It was really nice to do something together again. Two of the three girls are sisters of a student who was with me on the ranch in Pennsylvania. We met at Marienplatz and then explored Munich together.While there, we visited the Residenzmuseum and the courtyard garden. The English Garden was the next stop. We also had dinner together at the Pepenero Restaurant. Going out for Italian food with American friends in Germany. Not bad either. 😂 But we didn't eat from golden plates. 😅

Still about my theater performance: it was last Wednesday (28.06.23). We performed 'The Physicists.' But more in a modern way. Do you know the play? It all went quite well. We did a full 50 minutes. It was fun in any case. :D

Last Monday (26.06.23) we presented a little teaser of our play at our cultural evening. Also others presented something at the culture evening. Be it from the area of film, music, impro-theater or orchestra. A colorful mixed program. 🙂 

So, all said. The reporter is going to sleep now. The next few days will be a bit tense, until the last projects are refined and handed in. But it's going amazingly well so far. I just need to find a subject for my photo reportage. 🙃
