Niagara Falls

Hey! 😃

There is insane news for you again!

Yesterday we visited Niagara Falls. By we, I mean my consulting family, another student, and I. It was amazing! 🥰

We left at 9:30 in the morning and arrived around 12 o'clock. It was bigger than I had imagined. Thanks to this trip, I can definitely check off another item on my bucket list. ✅

We also wanted to go to the Cave of the Winds (It's a platform on the river) where you can see Niagara Falls from below.

But when we went to buy tickets, the ticket counter said they were fully booked. Suddenly, a man approached us and asked if we wanted four tickets since he didn't need them. In the end, we bought the tickets from him! 😁

After a quick visit to the souvenir shop (where I got to choose a magnet with Niagara Falls on it), we made our way to the platform. Just before the elevator, there was a man managing everything. There was only one problem: we had only four tickets but six people.

When we told the man about this, he turned a blind eye and let all of us ride down. Really nice! 😃

Once we reached the bottom, we walked through a long corridor. There were a lot of seagulls flying around us. The platform is made of wood and you can get a really good view of the waterfalls up close. 😍

On a slightly elevated platform, you would get wet if you stood there for more than 2 minutes to take a photo (see pictures). Yes, I stayed there a little too long. 😂 But it was a cool refreshment!

Then we saw a rainbow! At first, it was very crowded and dark. But in the afternoon, the sun came out. That had a completely different effect. 😯

Something else I would like to see is when Niagara Falls is illuminated with colorful lights at night. But I'll do that next time when I come back. 😉 The boat tours, where you can take a round trip on the river, were unfortunately not open yet. A reason to come back! 🙂

We were so blessed with the time we spent there and this experience is definitely something I won't forget! 😊

See you next weekend! 👋🏻

What I would also like to see again is when Niagara Falls is lit up with bright colors at night. But I'll just do that next time I get there again. 😉 The boat tours, where you can do a round trip on the river, were unfortunately not yet open. A reason to come back! 🙂
