Happy 4th of July! 🥳🇺🇸

Hi! ☺️

I'm getting back to you. Quite hectic to have so many camps running. It's already the second week of camp today! 🏕👍🏻

Last week, I was a support staff in one of the wooden cabins. My task was to sit with the children during meals and stay overnight in the cabin. Throughout the day, I am responsible for filming videos of the activities and then uploading a small final video on YouTube every week. Here's a video that I put together last week:

https://youtu.be/QLbPJ3BbnPo

We have a new little pig for the barn! During the summer camps, the children can go to the barn and pet the many animals! 😊

There are various activities available for the children, including horse riding lessons, horseback riding, lunging, water games, trust courses in the forest, climbing on the climbing wall, archery, and much more. 🙃

Take a look at the video to get a good glimpse of how summer camps run here. 😊

After this week, we still have four more weeks of receiving children. Then there will be a family camp, followed by a week off for the students before the graduation ceremony! 🎓👩🏼‍🎓 Yes, you got it right, we will most likely be wearing those black huts! That would be something completely new for me. 😂 But I'm open to trying new things. 👍🏻

Today is the Fourth of July, which is Independence Day in America. It's customary here to have fireworks. You can hear them all around. 🎆🎇

During the children's registration, many staff members dressed up in clothes and costumes to get into the festive spirit and align with the camp theme of the "Wild West". 🤠

We have every Saturday off, where we have the option to leave the ranch. Last Saturday, as part of the media team, we took a little trip to the park in Corry to practice and take portraits of each other. You can see some impressions and results in the pictures. 📸

That's it for now. I'll let you know what's next after the summer camps. But I'll update you as we get closer. I'll also write another blog post about it. I will definitely be leaving the USA for a short time. 😢🇺🇸 If you have any questions or if you're curious, just reach out to me.

See you soon! I hope I can get back into a good rhythm with the uploads now. I don't have much time for pictures at the moment, so just check out the Miracle Mountain Ranch pages on Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube to see some. 🙈

Yours, Salo ;)
