For us, the first step is to get here. A long, quiet but tiring flight lies behind us. Before us lies a new culture, new people and a new country, all of which we have to and want to get to know. We want to take a look at the work of Christ for Asia International (CFA) and are excited to see what we will experience.

We are already overwhelmed by the friendliness of the Filipinos. From the local passengers on the plane to the people at the supermarket checkout, to the employees and children here at CFA. Everyone is super welcoming and the first two questions we are constantly asked are: "What name? How old?" mostly of course related to our little sunshine. Then an immediate “so cute” comes back.
