Everything is fine (as long as you're wild?)

Day 1 of the Safari: Promptly at 7 o'clock, the long journey from Nairobi to Masai Mara started. In the safari bus with four other travelers, we drove over bumpy roads (Guide's warning 'now you get free massage') through numerous villages. The buses are not the newest, so it is normal for one to break down from time to time. And that's what happened to one of the buses in our group - the entire front axle simply broke in two. But since that seems to be nothing special, a new bus could be organized quite quickly and we were able to start our first drive in the national park. There, we immediately had luck and saw a cheetah from a distance of 3 meters - it's something special to see such a shy animal up close. Now we're having a beer before we retreat to our tent, because tomorrow at 6 o'clock we're already starting again. Good night :)

The buses are not the newest, so it is normal for one to break down from time to time. One of the buses in our group did - the entire front axle broke in two. But because that apparently is nothing special, a new bus was quickly arranged and we could start our first ride through the national park. There we also had luck and saw a cheetah at a distance of 3 meters - something special to see such a shy animal so close. Now we're having a beer before we retire to our tent, because tomorrow at 6 o'clock we have to start again. Good night :)
