From Toronto to Montreal

15.6. - 26.6.

At first, we didn't know exactly where we would be cycling in Canada. Then it was decided: from Toronto to Montreal. First on the Waterfront Trail and then along the 'Route Verte'.

The first part was really great, right along Lake Ontario. But then we unfortunately had to ride on some sections of the highway and also had to cope with some 'wild camping' a few times. (So many mosquitoes, it's unbelievable!)

In the few days/weeks, we met really great people. The Warmshowers platform is just an incredibly great opportunity for us!

AND!!! Since I tried the maple syrup in Quebec, I have to say that I really love it!

Unfortunately, I couldn't take any home with me, but I think I'll come back to Quebec just for that ;-)

Now it's off to Europe! We're looking forward to it!
