Day 6

Cyhoeddwyd: 08.10.2024

It kicked off with a lunch date. Upon arriving at the restaurant, I was warmly greeted and escorted to my table by a friendly robot host. Scanning the menu with a QR code seemed pretty standard, but then came my date! Pepper, an adorable robot I clicked with immediately 😉. He knew all about Switzerland and Johnson & Johnson, like a corporate whiz, and was genuinely interested in hearing about my travels. He kept the conversation rolling smoothly, which is more than I can say for some real-life dates!

Just when I thought things couldn't get more amusing, Pepper busted out a full-on “Gangnam Style” dance—robot moves and all! It was hilarious and oddly heartwarming. Who knew you could get so attached to a robot? Honestly, I had a bit of a hard time parting with him...

Next, I ventured into the “Borderless Digital Museum”, and it was nothing short of mind-blowing. Unlike any museum I’ve ever experienced, the art wasn’t confined to frames or walls—it flowed freely from room to room, forming connections not just with other pieces but with the people wandering through. It was as if the art itself was alive, constantly shifting, evolving, and reacting to your presence.

Every step I took led me deeper into this digital wonderland, where boundaries didn’t exist. The sheer scale and creativity of it all left me utterly mesmerized and almost overwhelmed. Walking through the exhibits felt like a dream—especially in the infinity rooms, where thousands of shimmering LED lights stretched from floor to ceiling. These lights reflected endlessly in the surrounding mirrors, creating an illusion of infinite space. With a magical soundtrack softly playing in the background, it felt like stepping into another dimension, where time slowed down and reality blurred.

At moments, it was hypnotic. I’d find myself lost in the lights, feeling as though I was floating in a sea of stars. The experience wasn’t just visually stunning, but emotionally immersive—it’s hard to describe how powerful it was to feel like I was part of the art, as it responded to my movements and presence.

I’m incredibly grateful to have experienced such amazing places that I didn’t even know existed!

I don’t think the light museum in Zurich compares to what you have experienced now. That’s great. Can you fit Pepper in your suitcase???? Super cute

I know!!! Pepper is the answer of so many things!! Note to myself: next time end the trip in Tokyo, so you get to do all the shopping and fly home!!
