Today we went to the ''two and a half men' and Baywatch beach: Zuma Beach. A breathtaking beach about 5 km long with clean water. Thanks to the slanted east-west coast, the waves break perfectly for the surfers - and there were a lot of them! We watched them with fascination and in the midst of the hustle and bustle, there was something that wasn't surfers. They were dolphins - riding the waves with the surfers!! An incredible spectacle - so unexpected....
For lunch, we went to a trendy beach restaurant. After a good meal, we went to the Getty Museum - an impressive campus with really beautiful exhibitions. We then settled down in the garden and took our obligatory jetlag nap :-) For dinner, we had hamburgers again because they make them so well!
Today we visited the set often used in 'two and a half men' and Baywatch. Zuma Beach. An absolutely gorgeous 5km long beach with clear water. Due to its location, the waves break perfectly for surfers. There were really a lot of surfers. We watched them and suddenly we spotted dolphins in between them, surfing the waves just like the surfers. What a spectacle - totally unexpected!
We had lunch in a trendy beach restaurant and then proceeded to the Getty campus - apparently the nicest Museum on earth! It had indeed beautiful exhibitions, but when the jetlag hit us, we lay down in the garden and took a little nap :-) For dinner we had another burger - they make them so deliciously!
