After a whole day of doing nothing in Yangshuo, we continue by plane to Huangshan. This city is located in the Anhui province, and we are getting closer to our final destination in China - Shanghai.
Huangshan is our base to explore the surrounding villages and to take a trip to the Yellow Mountain.
After a 2-hour flight, we still have time in the evening to explore the Old Street of Huangshan. It is well-preserved, but as always, it is mainly filled with tourist shops selling food, tea, and silver/stone products. Not very exciting. The best thing we discover (thanks to LP) is a dumpling "restaurant" where the grandmother prepares and cooks the dumplings fresh and serves them in a steaming soup right in front of us. It is not really a restaurant, but more like a snack bar from the 16th century: at least it seems that hardly anything has changed in this place.
The walk through the Old Street of Huangshan is all we do for the rest of the day - once you have savored relaxation, you always need more of it.
