Toronto Large Area

On 30.07. our 2000 km long Toronto/Ontario tour started, after a stressful journey, cancelled holiday home, ordered PCR test, blocked credit card, our first day began to the 130 km distant Niagara Falls, fantastic, spectacular, overwhelming is definitely not an exaggeration.

On the second day of the trip we visited the CN Tower with a unique view over the Greater Toronto Area. In the afternoon we visited the old mansion Casa Loma, in the following days the Blue Mountains, Lake Huron with a tornado warning (the early warning system works in Canada), followed by Barrie on Lake Simcoe and Wasaga Beach.

In the next few days we drove east to Cobourg on Lake Ontario with its wonderful beach and to Oshawa Beach.

In Hamilton, the Royal Botanical Garden with its waterfall just outside is recommended.

Finally, a short trip to the USA via the Rainbow Bridge, the falls on the US side are within reach.

In Toronto, Scarborough Park with its cliffs is a highlight. The ROM, the Old Town, the Islands with a ferry crossing, the Harbourfront with sunset...

Ripley's Aquarium is a must for children.
