Day 5: Farewell in Hanoi

Just like the morning before, we started the day with coffee and tea. This time, we headed to 'Note Coffee'. As the name suggests, the whole café was covered with countless sticky notes that customers can use to stick their own messages all over the place. After that, we soaked up some sun rays while strolling around Hoan Kiem Lake and enjoying fresh fruits. Then we visited the 'Van Mieu' Temple of Literature, which used to be a university in the past but has now become a memorial site. By the way, you can also see the complex on the 100,000 VND banknote. Of course, we couldn't miss trying 'Bia Hoi' during our visit to Hanoi, so we finally did in the afternoon. In the evening, we went to the 'Lantern Lounge' once again, where we had the best falafels ever. Before we traveled to Sapa from Hanoi on the 'Sleeping Bus', we sat by Hoan Kiem Lake and enjoyed Hanoi's nightlife.
