From the heat to the "cold".
From Georgetown with over 36 degrees, we took the bus to the Cameron Highlands, which are 1500 meters above sea level. The temperature difference of almost 15 degrees was a pleasant change:)
From our host, we received a hand-drawn hiking map with a few reference points and then we headed towards a viewpoint on a hill. From there, we could already see the huge tea plantations.
Due to the ideal climate, a lot of vegetables and fruits are also grown there.
After a partly very steep and slippery descent through overgrown bushland, we reached the tea plantations and were able to hike through them. It was very impressive, you can't see this anywhere in Switzerland.
