Thai Rafting, Jungle Safari and Elephants

So last day in Chiang Mai is over. Today we went on a tour that started with a fantastic rafting on a bamboo raft. Then we hiked through the jungle (Nobite was worth its weight in gold). And finally, we got to feed and bathe the elephants. When choosing the provider, we tried to make sure that the animals are well taken care of, which is unfortunately not the case here on a daily basis. All in all, we were quite satisfied, riding was prohibited and we didn't see any elephant hooks either. However, it's of course not comparable to wild elephants because you could never get as close to them.

Tomorrow we'll head back to Bangkok and from there onwards to Ko Chang, Ko Kood or Ko Samet. We don't know exactly yet.
