Bye, bye Las Vegas ... should have been. But before that, we wanted to get rid of our broken monster tire that we had been carrying around with us since Saturday. This could not be placed under the car like the spare tire, but spread itself between suitcases and cool boxes. So we headed for Alamo and asked if there was a way to drop off the tire there ... but since we also mentioned that the onboard computer still showed low tire pressure despite the new tire, we were able to make a car exchange on the spur of the moment. Now we have downsized a bit ... but still plenty. :)At lunchtime we finally left Las Vegas and headed towards Hurricane, Utah. On the way there, we visited the Valley of Fire State Park. It is the oldest and largest state park in Nevada and lives up to its name. It served as a filming location for some Star Trek scenes. The red rocks resemble animals, such as Elephant Rock, or beehives. There are ancient rock drawings over 4,000 years old. After a few stops in scorching heat, we continued our journey and arrived in Hurricane after a short food break in Mesquite. Off to the motel. The next day was going to be exhausting ...
