A lot of wind around the trekking capital, the city in the middle of nowhere.

The winds that reach speeds of 50-60km/h invoke an end-of-the-world feeling, surpassing that of Ushuaia.

The small town, which consists mainly of hostels, hotels, hostels, guest rooms, and inns, is located in the Los Glaciares National Park. Here, there is no cellphone reception and the internet is not the fastest, but there are several hiking and trekking routes that one can embark on. Theoretically.

You have to get used to the weather conditions first. Here, 'variable' is an accurate description, although the strong wind blows quite consistently.

Due to low-hanging clouds, strong wind, and rain, we decide to take a shorter path that leads to a waterfall.

However, we don't even make it to the edge of town. The wind is whipping the rain so hard against us that we decide to take shelter in the 'Waffeleria'.

After coffee and hot chocolate with a shot, we make a new attempt during a break in the rain. Our clothes are still wet, but the wind will surely help them dry...

We actually reach the waterfall, although it appears less impressive in the rain.
