From Oslo's main train station, we rode our bikes to our airbnb accommodation in the north of the city, where we arrived at the same time as Ursi and were warmly welcomed by our hosts Josephine and Guilhem.
With the Oslo Pass, we were able to take advantage of a wide range of cultural offerings: a visit to the Holmenkollen ski jump, the historical open-air museum, and the Maritime Museum were on the agenda. We also took a boat trip to the nearby island of Gressholmen. In the evenings, we dined casually in a Scottish pub and then more elegantly in a traditional restaurant. Overall, we greatly appreciated the high quality of the gastronomy.
Then we loaded our bikes onto the exorbitantly huge 'DFDS' ferry, where we promptly settled into our Commodore Deluxe cabin. The overnight crossing to Copenhagen took about 20 hours and was very comfortable.
Finally, we arrived at our last Scandinavian destination: Denmark. Copenhagen made a very positive impression on us, with its well-developed bike paths, friendly atmosphere in the city, and diverse culture. Sightseeing by bike, the freetown of Christiania, the Tipi Bar, and more...
