Grand Canyon

Our next stop “Grand Canyon” has been reached.

We have moved into our campground, which is idyllically located in the forest. There was really nothing here and it took us “Back to the Nature”. That was a really great experience. It was really cold at night and we had to turn on our generator for the first time on the tour to bring the camper to a comfortable temperature.😉

Now we went to the Grand Canyon "North Rim". This was recommended to us in advance because the north side was not so crowded and was just as beautiful. The canyon was only 15 minutes away from our campground, which was very pleasant. When we got there, the Grand Canyon Lodge was waiting for us, which was really chic, before the canyon overwhelmed us with its size and the great view. After enjoying the view in the sun at almost 2,600 meters, we went to the lodge for lunch with a view of the canyon...great mediocre 🤗

After an afternoon break at the campground, we drove back to the canyon in the evening to watch the sunset with the different color changes of the Grand Canyon. That was the icing on the cake of the day.

Tomorrow the journey continues towards Las Vegas. We stay there for 3 days before reaching our final destination, Los Angeles.
