3.10.18 Zurich - Montreal

Today is the day and I start the journey to Montreal with Mom to board the AIDA there. The way to the airport is unproblematic, at the airport I am somewhat surprised by the many people, but it is vacation time... But we start unproblematic to Montreal and after a quite entertaining 8-hour flight, we arrive in Montreal. Here the whole immigration is already fully automatic, which is not a hurdle for us, and just 1.5 hours after landing, an Uber taxi has already taken us to our hotel. The Novotel Montreal Centre is centrally located in the newer part.

Before dinner we still have energy and desire to explore the city. With a pleasant 14 degrees, we let ourselves drift a bit and admire the Cathedral Marie-Reine-du-Monde, which is modeled after the Vatican. It is huge and has an impressive dome.

For dinner we have Surf'n'Turf in a steakhouse and we are tired and in bed before ten o'clock local time.
